Day 49 Pulaski NY to Raquette Lake, NY

Day 49.  It was a bit of a long day, but beautiful with the changing fall colors.  As we climbed the leaves kept getting more colorful. We did 100.5 miles and climbed 4,918 feet into beautiful fall leaves.  There was not much traffic either.   Here are some pictures but they really don't show the forest as it looked.

Along the way there were the usual interesting things.  Here is a Pac Man on a lawn.
Then, there were the interesting mail boxes.

I was also interested in this place - I always appreciated George.
This place takes special credit.  It was about 100 feet tall - HUGE!  No exaggeration!!  I only hope they treat the trash as well!!
It is easy to see that Halloween is coming, at least around here!
Along the way we always find the unexpected.  As a kid I liked to watch the outer limits, and more or less, HERE IT IS!
After today's crank, we are going to Ticonderoga tomorrow.  A very historical place indeed - apparently changed hands between the French, English, and Americans several times - and may do so again!?
