After three hours of packing Paul C's Honda Excrement, and saying goodbye to the kitties, we are off to Anacortes, WA to start the bike trip across the US.  This is the second time for both of us.  Paul P did it the first time in 1990 with wife Gayle on their tandem.  Paul C did it in 2014, East to west with a bunch of river buddies.
