Day 8 A very sweet day! Gentle climbs and nice weather. Daimond T Ranch Clark Fork Montana to Eurika, Montana.

Day 8 indeed!  Nice day, though cool in the morning.  65 miles riding and 2760 vertical climb to Eureka, Montana.  Pretty gentle indeed.  My seat is complaining less, so I have to come up with something else to gripe about - maybe the food.  I slept like a log last night but apparently snored (very rare) - I heard none of it!
Here is the picture of the middle of the trip.

We did get to stop and look at Kootenai Falls.  I took a good look and had some runs picked out, but not at all of them.  Impressive!

This shows me in the emergency mode - me eating PayDay's!!  Thanks to my sister - Peggy - for giving me a great supply of them.  They are like gasoline for the body.  Yum!!

Ok, now some more road-art.  This is a roadrunner made of rail spikes.  It is one of many, many things we see along the way, and it shows the human virtuosity in so many ways.  There will be more to come, so stay tuned.

Finally, here is something that drives me nuts - the failure to properly use adverbs!  "Drive slow or die fast" is the statement.  I thought it best not to point the lack of proper adverb use to this fellow, but we will work on it.
