Second Day and we survive! Concrete Washington to Mazama Washington.

Second day and it was a real test - 98+ miles and 9,320 vertical feet of climb to Mazama, Wahington.  I got pretty cranky at the cars, but they could not hear me anyway - they just blew by at 80+ chewing burgers and drinking who knows what.  I was behind on fluid - my excuse!.  Enough griping, it was a real grunt, but great scenery all they way up and down.  Here are some pics of this.  Thank goodness for payday bars!! 

Oh, now we know what this sign means - bikes on the road.  We won't do that again!

 

We are in Mazama, Wa. now and showered, fed, and happy.  Back with you after getting to Okanagen, or Omak, or Riverside.
