Day number four! Wauconda Pass. Riverside Washington to Republic Washington.

Day number four.  This was 62 miles, and 4,547 feet climb, but it was 102 degrees to Republic, Washington.  I didn't think I could drink that much water and not have to stop.  The first picture is at Wauconda Pass.  Glad to be there.  The next picture was one of the many old cabins that we saw.  Beautiful and lots more to see.
Then, it seems people water the roads and they grow - or something.  Big problem.  Next, you can see that satellite TV out here is pretty, well, "shitty".  Glad I don't get it.  So, tomorrow is our last big climb for a while, and we start off climbing just out of the gate.  I will be glad to do this early though - Sherman Pass - and then it is flat for several days.  On we go!  PCC

  1. that ride reminds me of the last Bob Lebow century - at the end of the ride, it wasn't clear whether I had an odometer or a thermometer on my handlebars.

    102 degrees is smoking hot!
