Day 21. Glendive Montana to Medora, North Dakota..

Day 21 - Three weeks!  Today was much better with respect to the wind, well, at least it was not in our faces again!  Today we went 65 miles, climbed 1,972 feet, and ended up in Medora, North Dakota!  Crossed the border!!  Maybe the weather is better here?  Anyway, here is the border.
As for the roads, we started out going on the interstate!  Actually, most of the drivers were very courteous, most of them.  Here is Paul P. about to enter the fray!

The land actually looked different.  More moisture, more grass and "Hoodoos" like we see along the Owyhee river.

The wheat fields looked big too and stretched over the vistas.

Along the way we saw old parts of the former communities, most of which has gone back to the soil.  Here is an old gas station and an old farm.  This is in Sentinel Point, North Dakota.

We stopped in the Dakota Bike Shop here in Medora and got some new tires I wanted as spares, as well as some tubes.  Essential as there are very few places to find these.  Here is Jennifer and Gayle sorting out the parts and pieces.

Tomorrow we head further in to North Dakota, and most of the way is off the interstate on old Highway 10.  So far, this has been very enjoyable.
