Day 32. Another great day, cloudy in the AM, scattered clouds in the PM. Spooner, Wisconsin to Glidden, Wisconsin.

Today, after a day of much needed rest, we hit the road again.  We stayed a day with Gayle's relatives and were treated like royalty!  Soft seats, great meals, and no need to get on the bike - well, for a day.  It was very nice.  Here is a picture of Paul P. on the way today.
The trip today was 89.1 miles and 2,187 feet of climb to Glidden, Wisconsin.  Spitting rain when we started, but loose clouds and a tailwind when we finished.  Nice.
The "LLC" has expanded to rural Wisconsin it appears.  Progress is progress!
This one I don't get.  If this place sells rabbit meat, why is the bunny smiling?  I need more education.

This was another time-wrap type of place.  It was as if the folks who worked on all these old vehicles at this old repair outfit just walked away and never came back.  We have seen a few of these along the way, and as usual, one wonders what stories are buried here.
These buses were in the back of a high school!  It looked like there was some sort of "Bus Demo-Derby"!?  Never seen anything like this, but it might improve school taxes, or something.
Next, on the way we passed quite a few bars, but not one like this.  Indeed, it was open, and very busy - really!  I did not have time to stop, but if I had I doubt I would be riding tomorrow.
Ok folks, please explain this one.  Is this someone who failed engineering or was mad at his/her refrigerator?  You would think someone would, um, "improve" the sign.  But then, I expect all the locals know what it really means.  I certainly did not.
We are spending the night in Glidden, Wisconsin and were amazed at several large, full size murals of WW2 and Vietnam soldiers.  This picture does not do it justice as there are several and they are of extremely good quality.
Well, tomorrow we are going to try to make Phelps, Wisconsin.  It will be a bit of a long ride, but the wind should be in our favor.  On we go.
